About

The science
of human motion

I'm Peiman — a physiotherapy student at Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, originally from Iran. I came to Istanbul with a single conviction: that movement is the most fundamental expression of health, and that when it is taken away, it takes something irreplaceable with it.

My approach sits at the intersection of clinical precision and genuine human care. Whether I'm working through complex anatomy, refining joint mobilization technique, or studying the neurological pathways behind motor recovery — every hour of study is oriented toward a single purpose: helping people reclaim their freedom of movement.

Fluent in Persian, Turkish, and English, I can connect with patients across cultures and build the kind of trust that is the true foundation of good clinical practice. I believe that's not a minor detail — it's what separates good physiotherapy from great physiotherapy.

Education & Formation

Where knowledge
becomes practice

2020 — Present

Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University

B.Sc. Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation — Istanbul, Turkey

Studying the full clinical spectrum of physiotherapy: from musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy to electrophysical modalities and neurological rehabilitation. Active engagement in anatomy laboratories, simulation clinics, and evidence-based practice seminars. Building the clinical reasoning skills required for independent, patient-centred practice.

Prior to 2020

Secondary & Pre-University Education

Natural Sciences Stream — Iran

Developed a rigorous foundation in biology, chemistry, and mathematics — the scientific bedrock of clinical physiotherapy. Graduated with distinction before relocating to Istanbul to pursue specialist education in physiotherapy and rehabilitation science.

Currently Exploring

Where I'm growing
as a clinician

01

Neurological Physiotherapy

Deepening my understanding of motor recovery following stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis. Studying neuroplasticity principles and task-specific training protocols to restore functional independence in neurological patients.

02

Return-to-Sport Protocols

Studying evidence-based frameworks for safely returning athletes to competitive sport after injury — with focus on ACL rehabilitation, load management strategies, and the neuromuscular readiness criteria applied by elite sports medicine teams.

03

Advanced Manual Medicine

Exploring advanced spinal and peripheral joint techniques beyond the core curriculum — including the Mulligan Concept, McKenzie Method, and Maitland's graded mobilization approach for complex clinical presentations.

04

Postural & Ergonomic Medicine

Investigating the long-term musculoskeletal consequences of sedentary behaviour and repetitive occupational postures — building frameworks for workplace assessment and preventive conditioning for desk-based and screen-dependent populations.

I'm open to internship opportunities, clinical rotations, academic collaborations, and conversations about movement science. I respond to every message — reach out.

"Open to every conversation about human movement, healing, and the science that connects them. Whether you're a fellow student, a practising clinician, or someone who simply needs to move better — I would genuinely love to hear from you."
